GoodStart is a free, personalized, telephone-based program that works with your pharmacy to support people who take certain medicines regularly for specific health conditions. Our goal is simple: to help you be as healthy as you possibly can while taking your prescription medicine.

Our GoodStarters will reach you by phone to provide important information about your medicine and help you set up a good routine for taking it as your doctor has prescribed. They will offer free information and other resources. They will listen to you and provide encouragement and recommendations.

At GoodStart, we know that coping with an ongoing condition is no easy task. We are here to give you the time, respect, and support you deserve, from people who truly care.

How GoodStart Works

A GoodStarter will call you to introduce themselves and our program. You may then receive one or two additional calls, depending on the medicine you take.

  • DURING THESE BRIEF CALLS, YOUR GOODSTARTER MAY:
    • ✓ Help you figure out the best way to remember to take your medicine as your doctor has prescribed
    • ✓ Remind you when it’s time to refill your prescriptions so you don’t run out of medicine
    • ✓ Offer you our free GoodStart Minutes™, which are daily text or email messages with helpful tips on managing your health and staying healthy
    • ✓ Encourage you to ask your doctor or pharmacist any questions that arise that you may have about your medicine
    • ✓ Offer additional services and resources to support you

How GoodStart Works

GoodStarters are caring people who are dedicated to providing emotional and practical support and encouragement when you need it most. GoodStarters are not healthcare providers, so if you have a question about your health or your medicine, they will suggest you speak with your doctor or pharmacist.

Our GoodStarters have the time and training to create meaningful connections with you. You likely will speak with the same GoodStarter for each call you receive, to help build a relationship of support and trust.
